A New Normal

A new year. Time to reflect and re-evaluate for the year ahead.

The Christmas season is a special time of year when God’s presence invades our culture like no other time of year. People are thinking of him, talking about him and celebrating His goodness.

Once January hits, the temptation is to settle back into our old routine—the busyness of life in which God becomes less noticeable.

My hope this year is that I would adopt a “new normal”. The active, visible presence experienced through December would naturally continue throughout the year.

A new year. A new normal. Serving a real God who is actively involved in my real life and world.
